Fr. Theodore Ekwem To Return To Nigeria

Fr. Theodore celebrated his last Class Mass with Bishop Luers seniors on November 4th. In his parting message to students, he counseled them to balance "who you are, with what you are." He said that who we are as persons is much more permanent and lasting than what we choose to do in our careers.

We will certainly miss Fr. Theodore as he will soon return to Nigeria to assume responsibilities as the rector of a seminary with around 500 seminarians. We are so thankful for his joyful laugh and ministry in our school. He has impacted so many of our students, teachers, and staff, as well as community members at St. John the Baptist Fort Wayne and throughout our diocese.

There are plans in place to foster the connection Bishop Luers has with Fr. Theodore and his Diocese in Nigeria. Once a Knight, Always a Knight!
