The Knights travel to Jay County HS for the IHSAA Sectional 28 game this Friday, November 1 at 7pm. Come cheer on the team! Admission: $7 per IHSAA (preschool free). Due to a recent tornado hitting Jay County's school, a Parking Map is attached because of temporary classrooms setup in their parking lot. #LuersSpirit

Nationally renowned Catholic speaker and comedian Paul J. Kim visited Bishop Luers High School last week. His talk at the student assembly, titled ”Meant to Live for More,” included his personal testimony about how he encountered Christ and His transformative grace. Paul spoke about how Christ is the only One who will truly satisfy the human heart, not passing things such as possessions, relationships, and achievements. He ended with an invitation to students to dialogue with Christ in prayer. Paul returned to school the next day to speak at the Staff Retreat, where he exhorted teachers and staff to live out their faith in the classroom. #LuersSpirit

It's time for IHSAA Football Sectionals! Join us at Luersfield tomorrow, Friday, October 25 at 7pm to cheer on the Knights as they face Norwell. Ticket information below: ADMISSION: $7.00 per person. Children age 5 and younger admitted free. Per the IHSAA, all tickets will be digital through your mobile phone and may be purchased using the link below (additional fees may apply.) No cash. NO outside food or drinks will be permitted. NOTES FOR SPECTATORS: NO PASS OUTS. Please remember to bring in coats, umbrellas, blankets, etc. if needed. RESTROOMS – portable restrooms are on visitor side near ticket booth. Additional restrooms are located on the north side of the home bleachers - white trailer; accessible by walking around the north end of the track near Southgate Plaza. PARKING – be mindful that we have limited parking spaces behind and in front of the school. Please DO NOT park on the concrete walkway at the front door entrance of the school – grassy areas are ok. Lutheran South Unity School does allow parking in their lot for a fee. RESTRICTIONS: 1. Banners and posters are not allowed. 2. Battery powered or electronic noise makers, fireworks, recorded music (permissible during- quarter breaks, halftime, and post-game) , sirens, whistles or airhorns are not allowed. 3. Throwing of articles, including toilet tissue and baby powder, is not allowed. 4. No live animal mascots are permitted at any time. #LuersSpirit

The Bishop Luers High School freshman class had their yearly retreat earlier this week. A select group of our very own Bishop Luers seniors served as missionaries for the day. Following the retreat theme of Unity, freshman had the opportunity to participate in team building activities, a panel discussion, small group talks and missionary-led witnesses. The day concluded with Adoration, Confession, and Holy Mass. #LuersSpirit
