Grandparents' Day Agenda and Parking Plans

Classes begin at normal time, 7:45 am
On Tuesday, November 26, BLHS will host our annual Grandparents' Day.
It is a very special day for ALL of our students and their special visitors.

STUDENTS WHO DRIVE TO SCHOOL: 
Be sure that you plan ahead. Students will be parking at Lutheran South Unity School and walking to school from there.
*Many students who typically drive themselves to school could get a ride from parents or friends in the morning if they are going to leave with a grandparent/special guest after Mass.

PARENTS DROPPING OFF STUDENTS IN THE MORNING: 
Normal drop-off routine. 

GRANDPARENTS & SPECIAL VISITORS: 
They may park in the school parking lot. Students will be available to help direct traffic. Doors #7 and #8 will open at 9:45 am, at which time guests can enter the gym to find their seats. **Door 10 will be available for those that cannot do stairs to get into the gym.

MASS:  10:15 am - If grandparents have multiple grandchildren at school, please plan to meet with the oldest student in the Main Gym once released from class.

OPEN HOUSE AND ACTIVITIES: There will be an open house and special activities at the conclusion of Mass. Event ends at 12:00 pm.

DEPARTURE INFORMATION FOR ALL:

• If you are picking up your student (after Mass or at the conclusion of the Open House at 12:00 pm), please do so normally. Please be aware that we will have many drivers who are not familiar with our traffic pattern in the lots, so please be patient. 

INCLEMENT WEATHER: In the unlikely event of inclement weather, if school is closed, unfortunately Grandparents' Day will be cancelled.
